Medford, Oregon police returned fire, and killed a deranged individual, after a 19 hour standoff.  The girlfriend said she looked into his eyes, realized he wasn't there anymore, and grabbed her two dogs and fled.  No doubt Joanie would have approved of his having firearms because God "insisted"

i don't think the problem is in having the firearms, any more than having a fork or spoon, a clock, a rake, a can of Pepsi, wow, i could sure go for a Pepsi right about now.. a gun is an object, a thing, it can't cause harm, anymore than a can of whole cashews or a cell phone..

a car has far more potientail to be used as an insturment of mass murder in the wrong hands. Bees have stingers, it's a weapon, people have been known to use their hands to choke other people, lets take away all the hands, no one can be trusted with their own hands.
