Hi all,
I have the above three 'programs' on my computer and no matter what I do and have done, I just can't get rid of them.
I know they came with another program and are malware but I can't get rid of them. I tried to download Corel fonts and I think they were somehow attached to that website.
Please help me.
Thanks,
Di

can you tell us exactly what you have tried so we don't tell you to try something you already have

More details please.
If they are a very malicious and aggressive type they will turn off any virus defection software that you have installed which will make the removal process harder.
My advice is not to try to download any malware removers because a lot of those are malware themselves.
Check your PM.

roserobin and poddster,
I have spent $25 of the best dollars ever and purchased IOBIT Malware fighter - cleaned the whole computer in a few minutes.
I have used this company before and am might glad to add this to my orther protection programs.
Wont be trying to download any extra fonts for Corel Draw because tht's where they came from. About 12 'bits' in all.
Thanks for your responses, very much appreciated.
Cheers,
Di
PS: Will be checking everything twice from now on before downloading anything and only after someone has recommended it.

Have you tried deleting them manually?
Click on "start" at bottom left of screen
then click on "search" (it's the magniying glass icon
then search "all files and folders" for the names of progs you wish to delete.
(right click on name and select "delete")
Sometimes I have to chase progs right back to the directory they are stored in to delete them. you may even have to start the computer in "safe mode" to do it.
It might work and it's free. 😉
(edit: oops sorry, I see you solved it now)

L_R If a file is in use you are disallowed from deleting .
Most malware is running with files open = no deletion.

yes, I understand that. Does using "safe start" stop the progs being started on boot?

Great it's fixed. If the fonts were downloaded from an official Corel Draw site, you might want to let them know what happened. As Corel Draw is reputable.
(if unofficial fonts, then yes, just don't go back there...)

With any luck....... you might get a phone call from "windows"......they'll fix it!

Starting up in safe mode means only the basic files and drivers necessary to run Windows are started. So should stop the nasties from starting up.
