Totally agree, if you a meant to be staying at home, why do you need to attend a hairdresser? Surely people aren't that vain at a time like this?

This discussion is about hairdresser's being forced to work
under conditions which are unacceptable. Only Inconsiderate
self important selfish women would consider being preened
under these circumstances.
They are not being forced.
I think you will find they are being forced because they can't
seek Centrelink support unless their job has closed.

I hope that posters will come together and be as civil as possible. There is no need to fight and argue, call people names and be abusive.
At this time, people are dying with this dreadful virus; the very least we could all do is look in the same direction and not at each other in order to be "right".
We're all in this together.

I wish everybody good health and safety at this time of crisis. It's going to be a really rough ride for a while, and I think we all need to care and support each other for the duration.
Have a good evening all and take care, stay as safe as you can .....

My hairdresser (who is also a friend) is terrified. She is a recently separated single mum with a mortgage. Her boss doesn't want to be open but she can't just close down because then her staff can't get govt support. It's insanity to single out hairdressers. I can't for the life of me understand the rational behind keeping them open.
