I don't know what posessed my to buy half a leg of ham this year, when wer'e only a 2 person household, and OH away on his fishing trip.
While he was away I lived on ham, snacked on it, had it in bread rolls, froze some of it.
Now finally, last night I cooked up the bone and will make some pea & ham soup for dinner and some to freeze.
I don't think I'll even be able to handle even the smell of it for a while!

I thought this thread was going to be about the fact that piggies now glow blue...

Glowing piggies?? its a temptation to turn Jewish if it wasnt for the big snip in the nether region.
Given the lesser of 2 evils i'll choose glowing piggies

Good one Icy! We finished our ham yesterday, no problem. Children and grandchildren kept popping in.........right on breakfast, lunch, dinner time...in fact anytime!
All good fun over hols apart from SIL spitting the dummy!
