Once again I fell asleep but got up just in time to watch the firworks and see in the new year from an upstairs window. Didn't even pop the champagne I'd been saving.
We were going down to the watch the fireworks over Hansom Gransom fell asleep on the lounge and I couldn't face the walk down to the point, the crowds, and the climb back up the hill by myself.
I might watch it later on the telly, apparently they had a drone over the harbour:
"For the first time in Sydney, drones flew up to 1,000 feet above Sydney Harbour during the New Year's Eve fireworks displays."
To be honest, I'm a bit fireworked out.
Anyway, it'll be interesting to see how the new year progresses, I think we can be sure there'll be a lot happening.
Wishing everbody here, posters and lurkers, zero ID's and new ID's all, the traditional Happiness, Health and Prosperity.

It's still December 31 here in Oregon, but I appreciate your glad tidings..........tomorrow, cross your fingers for the Oregon Ducks, who will be (hopefully) thumping the Florida State Seminoles in the Rose Bowl.

Will do, Bay lol.
My hubby loves the american football and sits for hours watching it. Even gets his Dad to record the games he can't watch. The Dad and brother are crazy about it as well.
Fingers crossed for the Ducks!
