yesterday he said his car was half under water, then we havent heard

anything else.

Thankgoodness, it is cool here today, yesterday was just so hot 40deg, there was hardly any humidity so was more a clear heat, but it has just so hot, with a hot wind.

We had some light rain this morning, sun has now come out, so looks like it might be a humid day with a temp of 30+. As long as it is not near 40deg like the other day.

How is your back, Crosby?

I had to go to the dr. yesterday, I am having trouble with the sciatic nerve being trapped, the dr. has me on anti inflammatory meds and as my strong meds didnt even touch the pain, she has me on something similar to morphine, have to go back to see her on thursday.

Hope everyone else is doing okay!

My back is about the same, thanks Pam. I'm sorry to hear that you're in such pain. I hope that the the new medication is bringing some relief and that the doc can do something more for you tomorrow.

We're in for a real scorcher here today. Queensland has been relatively free from bushfires, thankfully, but we may get our turn, with a week of very high temps forecast. I hope that anyone in affected areas is keeping safe.

Was cool here today and we had rain last night, so the garden got a drink.

The strong meds seem to have worked on my sciatic nerve, the pain has nearly gone, thankgoodness. The meds made me very tired.

I go back to the dr. tomorrow, hopefully I can stop the medication.
