No, I think I need a slave or a master inverter board to make my picture come back. All I have is sound.
Thankfully I got a cheap TV recently so it's not urgent, just a bedroom TV 😄

Thake a strong torch and while your TV is on shine it on the edge of the screen as close as you can get it.
Look at the screen from different angles & if you can see any image or gost of image then the backlights
are not working. The next thing is it LED backlit or neon. If it is Neon it will have an inverter board which once you find it are simple to replace(usually a plugin job)
If it is LED It could as simple as a crook/loose conection to LEDs failed(very unusual).

I presume you are referring to the circuit board that provides the backlight for the display. Basically it converts low voltage to higher ones which then operate whatever type of backlight your TV uses. A little like looking at an Xray negative with a light box.
A complete lack of picture could indicate an inverter failure, quite often if you look hard you will normally see a faint image of the picture when the TV is on. As you have sound, (remote control etc, ?) I would expect the inverter board. My experience is based upon having replaced a few laptop inverters and accessing TV audio boards to provide sound directly to external good quality speakers (without using external amplifiers), because modern TV loudspeakers/sound, sucks.
If you are comfortable accessing the TV's "electronics", and have a little knowledge/confidence it would not be a difficult job, also it would help if you could mention the make and model of the TV.

My suggestion is to do a swap with telle 1958's washing machine.

I do mean the inverter although I will check before ordering part.

Check if it is LED back lighting because they do not have an inverter they are low voltage normally DC.
Most new TVs now use LED back lighting.

No, it's not the LED TV that broke.
It's a cheap TV that fits the profile of those that have inverters/inverter problems.
I don't think it's old enough to have the faulty capacitor problem either.
A small child flicked the power socket switch off then on again and the TV fizzed and lost it's picture.

Price has no bearing on if or not it is LED as the led setup is cheaper & simpler than the neon tube with an inverter and have been around for some years now.
Blaming the poor little kid? Sure you didn't spill your coffie in it?
