murdoch = aussie skeletor (you know, the one from He-man masters of the universe i think, although i disagree, i think he looks and behaves more like the imperator from star wars)

PPTSD certainly lingers, but if  assuring/comforting each other helps, that is good. Now all hold hands and sing a few verses of  Kumbaya

INAM: ".......All of those ridiculous lies, headlines and cartooons demonising Rudd and Gillard all came from the same sources......."

Like the media?. Obviously "lies" the reporting of the years of ALP dysfunction and factional fighting headed by the  Poor Me Gillard and Rudd circus with their knife throwing act.  I was intrigued by the knitting a toy kangaroo  "lie"?, now that is ridiculous

You can hardly berate the media for the headlines, as the ridiculous aspect  was generated by the ALP itself,  and reported to an electorate who eventually chose as they thought fit.

I wonder if  Whoopie Goldberg would mind  if the  years of  Poor Me's tenure was called Sister Act 4?

Who did replace the Poor Me & Rudd duo?

PS

INAM, a backflip results in you heading in exactly the same direction  that you started from !

Tony Abbott ,The Sunday Telegraph July 14 2013

"We are ready to govern. We are ready for an election. Last time Mr Rudd was prime minister and he was up against me, his own party sacked him for incompetence and arrogance.

"All I can say is: bring it on."

Tony Abbott ,The Australian,Oct 12,2012

"Now on the one hand you've got the Prime Minister acting like a victim rather than leader and on the other hand you've got the first law officer supporting someone whose attitudes to women and in many other areas are completely unacceptable."

Tony Abbott, News.com,March 14, 2013

"The media changes that were rushed out yesterday appear to be a blatant attempt to bully the media, particularly to bully the News (Limited) group into going soft on its quite justifiable criticism of this government," Mr Abbott told 2GB's Ray Hadley.

"We will furiously oppose any attempt to impose additional regulation on the media in opposition and we would rescind it in government Ray. It would just go.

"This is an extraordinary attempt for a liberal democracy to take. I think it's the first time in peacetime we've seen any such draconian attempt to regulate the media."

Button up: Abbott to keep ministers in check

Silence is golden but unwillingness to talk about what it's doing is hurting the Abbott Government

Denis Atkins,The Courier Mail,Nov 30 2013

Tony Abbott:

"The public voted for a change of Government, the public voted for a change of policy and the public expect the policies they voted for to be put in place."

ABC 3rd Dec 2013

Re: Has anyone seen any Phoney Tony headlines in the paper?

Sounds to me like the PM is threatening to extend the parliamentary sittings up to Xmas.....in the hope that some will vote his way on issues so as not to impact on their family Xmas break plans and travel, already arranged from December 12th.

Nothing this government does would surprise me. .

I hear Tony's going to try and get a book burning law through the senate before Christmas. I hope Chrissy hides his copy of Catcher In The Rye
