Hate-filled letter asking her to move or euthanise autistic son

A FAMILY is in tears after receiving an anonymous hate-filled letter telling them to move out of their neighbourhood or euthanise their autistic son.

Canadian mother Karla Begley received the letter in the post demanding she take action over her "loud" and "retarded" son Max.

The Ontatio mother said she had no idea who would send such a hateful letter which left her family shocked and devastated.

It's horrible - but it might be wise to treat it with just a smidgeon of caution. Someone else posted the same letter on FB and said it happened in Newcastle.

the person who wrote that letter is in for a rude awakening when they are found - and i have no doubt they will be found eventually.

Max stays with his grandmother Brenda Millson in the mornings during summer, but the letter was delivered to her Newcastle home.

there are so many of these types of stories on fb that turn out to be hoaxes its only logical to be sceptical.

I would also be cautious about this story.  If someone sent that then it will be easy to track them down and they should be seriously cautioned in some way.

It does kind of remind me of the recent story of a teenager that committed suicide after numerous horrible messages to them on a web site but in the end it turned out that he had been sending the messages to himself.  Still very sad.

I read this this morning. I dont understand, the whole concept is so foreign to me.
