Have a Laugh

WHEN STUDENTS TOOK THE ENTRANCE EXAM FOR MEDICAL SCHOOL, THEY WERE PERPLEXED BY THIS QUESTION: "REARRANGE THE LETTERS P-N-E-S-I TO SPELL OUT THE PART OF THE HUMAN BODY THAT IS MOST USEFUL WHEN ERECT."

THOSE WHO SPELT SPINE BECAME DOCTORS.

THE REST ARE IN PARLIAMENT

(sorry about the shouting, it's a c&p)

hmmmm, seems my Guidance counsellor got it wrong, I should have went in to politics instead of nursing.

I would have made a good tree hugging hippy feral greenie. Oh that reminds me, did anyone attend the protest rally today? to save the Leard Forest. It's getting turned into a coal mine.

Thank you Icy.  I appreciate it.

The protesters have had some success overthe past 12 months, of holding up procedings.  There's also a tussle underway to make Shenhua and BHP toe the line with their proposed mines.  I have seen the project applications, reports, EI Studies, and they are as shonky as buggery. Thankfully there have been a group of locals, mostly farmer who have put so much time and money in to making sure they do everything above board. It would have been better if they could stop the new mines, but that won't happen. In my case it will be the end of my little village.  My home will be worthless. So much for selling the house to pay for a retirement unit or nursing home placement when we get older ๐Ÿ˜ž  Might as well book a place under a tree in the local park now
