LOL I agree with Sandy, I don't want to win, it would take me a week to think of a new theme. I do like entering when I have something that fits. I've mostly been voting lately, I haven't had the time for posting.

I was really amused the last time I entered though, I put 3 pics in, 1 as a bit of a goof, 1 I thought was good and 1 at the last minute cos it fit the theme, the joke pic got more kudos than the 'good' one and the last minute pick got double the other 2 put together!

It amuses me too Lis. I'll spend ages arranging pics, fiddling with colours, adding borders etc, and think I've got a masterpiece, and it gets 4 votes, then someone comes along, snaps a quick pic of a dusty old plate and gets heaps of votes

Too many photos by too few posters, it is becoming impossible to vote and some are no longer posting photos because their 2 or 3 are being swamped.

I have been told by other posters that if you don't get your photo on page 1 or 2 then you won't get kudos so they don't post not many views after the first 2 pages.

Others have said they feel they have to scroll through too many photos to get to any new posters.

This is not sour grapes on my part, it is other posters who take fantastic photos and I have asked why they won't post their photos anymore.

(I am talking about 50 posts to a page when I say 1 or 2 pages)

Good lord, really?  what next.....Who are these other posters you speak of. 

No one makes anyone scroll through, it's simple really, if it's a bother to you don't bother.

Sorry if I and anyone else who posts more than a couple photo's offends anyone else.

As others have said, sometimes we individual posters have nothing to offer,  in my case if I don't post a pic at the beginning of the week I don't have much chance at the end of the week, busy, busy. There are reasons why some don't post every week.

This is a fun thread, nothing less, nothing more. Don't like it, ignore it. easy peasy.

Off to find some sparkle.

I agree with Rose and other comments above.

I guess I'd be in the basket of too many photos at times and 'swamping' others.

I try each week to take photos for the theme but I also add others if they fit, that I have on my computer or discs.

I also don't look at who posts the pictures, it's about the photos not the posters.

I Love the photo thread but looks like I'll 'curb' my 'addiction' a bit so that these 'others' who are 'swamped' can have a go...lol

Looking forward to seeing this weeks pictures.

Humf! Dusty old plate indeed! I cleaned it before I took the pic 🙂

As for the scrolling/voting question. I look at/for any new ones maybe 3-5 times a week. Then come Monday I get on the PC (rather than my phone), go back to the beginning and simply vote for ones that appeal to me. I don't even look at whose they are. Not terribly onerous or time consuming really. If someone "wins" more than once (has it happened? I don't know) surely that's because they have taken a better or more appealing photo? We could all learn from that rather than become jealous or whatever.
