I want to buy one, i'm confused about the safety aspect regarding the claims of PFOA- or PTFE-free ceramic interior.
I would appreciate recommendations, they vary so much in price, do you have one and are you happy with your's?

The aluminium was more of a concern for me with the Anolon. The bases had lost all their coating in the dishwasher and the scratches had exposed the aluminium on the inside as well.
Problem nowadays is you just dont know whats safe and whats not, some of the stuff you read about the dangers is true and some is just scaremongering.....working out which is which is the trouble.
Exactly punch, you need a degree to sift through the information to work out the BS from fact.

Hi Freddie,
As luck would have it I am an expert - PTFE and PFOA are toxins that escape with teflon coatings when they reach a certain temperature and release more when they are well used.
Ceramic/greblon/aqualine coated are PTFE and PFOA free are perfect for use and you don't need to spend a fortune if you shop around. Most do not require oils or butter etc and a easy to clean.
Don't be talked into scanpan - trust me, and also be wary of marble, it is fantastic cookware and I love it, but most marble cookware is not PTFE/PFOA free. If it is it will be clearly marked on the packaging.
