This is happening more and more, young 13-17 year olds, its scary stuff at the moment, I've never been strict on making sure doors are locked at night but I will be from now on. Americans would say this is why we have guns to protect ourselves, I hope it doesn't come to that here.

cut their hair short back and sides, wake em up at 5.30am for a pre breakfast run, no run no breakfast.
teach them how to cook and clean, wash their own clothes. learn to survive without mobile phones and pizza.
lots of running, make it so they dont wanna come back.
I agree, there is obviously a shortage of jails, we need to build a big one in the outback and start having zero tolerance. like the one punch rule, make people think about their actions and what the ramifcations are. We have a right to be safe in our own homes without some thugs thinking they can come and take what people work hard for and more importantly take away peoples sense of feeling safe.

a fear of being a labelled racist meant little effort was being done to tackle the gangs whose members predominantly hail from eastern Africa but also the Middle East and the South Pacific.
Ahhhhhhhh, the joys of multiculturalism. How very uplifting.
Yes, isn't it.

There are gangs in Gippsland as well. One is called SBK which stands for sick black c's. It's actually an aboriginal gang...
They put their tags everywhere, crash parties, steal cars, jump people in the streets, rob houses...
The problem with the parents of alot of gang members is they condone the behaviour. Most black people these days believe that whites are the most racist people on the planet. Therefore wrecking their lives is justified.
Please can someone tell me if whites are so racist how the hell is there never ending mass immigration from african nations into all the predominantly white nations, how is there a black American president, sporting heros, supreme court judges, cheifs of police, school principles, celebrities, artists etc etc. Everywhere there is powerful people there are blacks as well.
Look at black lives matter. That group is clearly totally racist in essence and their spiritual guru is a convicted cop killer... The whole movement (funded by billionaires like George Soros) is based around a false premise of a so called innocent black man who was shot dead in cold blood (by a white cop who was actually hispanic, and was actually found by the supreme court to have acted in self defence) Yet they spout this mantra "Hands up dont shoot" like as if the only people who are killed by police are innocent blacks, when the fact is more whites are killed by cops per capita annually than blacks (in America)... Which is what you would expect seeing as blacks only make up 20% of the population yet they commit over 50% of the violent crimes in America... And are more likely to resist arrest, commit a race crime and kill each other...
And it's racist white people that are the problem? Go figure...

Thing is, the parents can't discipline their children for fear of being charged for child abuse according to current Australian law.
Then the young offenders can't be disciplined by the law for fear of being labelled racist and child abuse. Young Offenders Detention staff live in fear of their lives due to the level of violence engaged in by their young wards.
Youngsters bent on mischief can literally get away with murder.

Better than 20 or 30 something year olds, because 13 to 17 years will be easier to smash (doesn't sound good I know, but remember, you're not the person breaking into houses, THEY are). In my view, a home-invasion is an act of war, so the criminals (the invaders) should be treated as such.
Also, because of the amount of people on Ice these days, and with these invasions, you won't know who is on Ice and who's not; So it's better to assume that ALL home invaders are on Ice, and act accordingly (regrdless of their age). ~ Just do do anything silly like chop limbs on and sick things like that (as much as some may want to). Try not to kill anyone. However, if you felt at the time that you had to strike one (or more) of them with, say, a hammer for example and you accidently kill them, well, your reason is that you were frightended for your safety and through you were going to die (don't talk to the police. They cannot be trusted. Talk directly to the magistrate/judge). Even if the cops ask you in an interview: "Would you like a glass of water before we start the interview?" Your answer is: "No comment." (no comment to Every question. And I mean Everything. As you are leaving: "Have we treated you ok while you were here at the station?" "No comment".
That's my thinking anyway. It's probably absolutely floored, but I don't care. You do what you want, I'll do what I want. Either way, don't bother calling '000' if you hear someone (or people) breaking in, because there's no time for that. Instead, get a weapon. Broom handle, bat, hammer, long knife (get ready to stab them), chainsaw if you happen to have one in your house ~ (you put it in your house because you were concerned it would get stolen from the garage /carport/whatever). Have a reason for everthing.
Do NOT say to the court (or Anyone) that you were angry at the time (even If you were). If there is a loop-hole in the law, use it. (i.e,: you were Frightened /Scared. NOT angry).
As we all know, they break in with weapons, so him them FIRST before they get a change to hit you. Even if they don't threaten you, hit them ANYWAY. (breaking in is a threat already, as they have caused you fear).
I don't like thinking like this, but this is how things are now, and our judges & magistrates need a kick up the backside for not being harsh. I can't help but feel that their lenient sentences are on purpose for a specific reason. I hope I'm wrong. But I know the police have eroded away, along with the sentencing (i.e, harsh sentencing). Either that, or they are stupid (or the governemt is mostly corrupt). I hope I'm wrong.
Thankfully, there's never been an invasion at my house, and hopefully never will be, but I'm prepared to start 'slaughering' people (cough cough!) if I felt it was necessary at the time of an unfortunate incident such as a home-invasion. Maybe Pauline Hanson was right all along: We ARE being 'swamped' (I've got nothing against African, Asians, Indians, or even 'White Trash' like me! But I DO have a problem with any of the above causing innocent people grief). The nightly news often disgusts me.
I don't usually post in these forums, but here it is.
Over & out.

NOTE REGARDING MY PREVIOUS POST ABOVE:
There are several typing errors:
Where I said: "Just do do anything silly", I meant to say: "DON'T do anything silly like..." etc.
I had tried to edit it again, but ran out of time ~ (there is a time-limit for edits on this forum as I just found-out).
Please try to 'read between the lines' (read through the typos and think about what I Meant to type) and you'll most likely 'get it'.
I try to type accurately, but unfortunately I don't always proof-read before submitting a post ~ (this is probably due to suffering years of online forms timing-out and losing what I had typed and having to re-type everything all over again).
Oh well, poor me! I'll get over it:).

Definitely seems to be on the rise.
I have strengthened the front door and put a strong security screen on as well.
I now have an extendable police type baton next to my bed for defence.
(would never have thought of this before)
If someone comes in with a knife, I want to make sure my stick is longer than his.
And I will break both his hands if need be.
