Good grief.....they're relying on the BOM to tell them when the cool change is going to arrive. Don't they know they are the only people paid to be wrong.
Where's the RSPCA when they are needed!!!!!!
I hope the trainers have the sense to scratch their horses.

True, but at the moment nobody is in a position to do anything about the Treasurer.
There are plenty of individuals (trainers and jockies for a start) who are in a position to close this meeting down right now.
When we were showing horses there were a few top class shows on in January where we could have kicked some serious a$$ but we never gave a thought to going as the weather was just too hot. We left our horses in the paddock until it was time to prepare for Sydney Royal at Easter.
