they sure don't need to be in our educational system and telling us what our children need to learn.
Let the red states handle their own curriculum and the kids will learn that the Earth is only 6000 years old, slavery wasn't an issue during the Civil War, and that Thomas Jefferson was a fictional character.........

They should read the entire article I think

I read it here about a year ago (Pods), and read it again just before you made this post.
I can see why so many Aussies carry a grudge. Things like that can last generations (Hatfield and McCoys). First of all the Americans should have had equal rations as the Australians. That alone created friction.
Showing respect to your hosts in a foreign country would have went a long way. But my favourite part was this.....
But after that, it sort of settled down and you go into a pub and an Aussie would come and up and slap me on the back. "Oh, wasn't that a good ruckus we had the other night? And have a beer on me."

Afraid of a low flying helicopter ????????
LOL yes, some people just need to say something controversial to get their face on TV. I wonder how she would feel if the kids were pointing the guns at her as she was in her garden.
People doing stupid things like that should be charged for the cost of the operation. But then again, maybe the police should look at it as a good practice run for the next time, when the weapons and threat are real.
