You certainly dont want to get bitten by one of those.
Steve played with fire and got burnt, it happens when you hunt dangerous game, either with a camera or a gun.
Dont go near dangerous game if you dont expect at some point to get hurt.
I do however think he was damn unlucky how it happened, i expected him to go from snake a croc.
I thought he was killed while swimming....and in an unusual manor (stingray), not playing with "fire".
Whatever the case...I thought he was a loss of great Human Being. He was my favourite TV personality/environmentalist.

Yes I know, but from what I heard he wasn't doing anything dangerous. And of course I was one of those who thought it would be a croc. I heard there was a video, but no way I could watch it if there is.
I remember one show where he kidded about his death and how everyone would say, "I knew one would get him sooner or later". He just laughed it off.
I watched Bindi once. She acts just like him (personality wise). Can you believe she's already 16!

I read or heard that he actully pulled the sting out of his chest (heart), and that it's a very painful thing to do because the hooks go in the opposite way. It seems he lived long enough to realize what had happened to him and how serious it was. But, he didn't make it. 😞
