Incorrect.
True Italian pizza is thin. Made so that when you pick up a triangle you can fold it in your hands between thumb and other 4 fingers so that the topping doesn't slide off.
Calebrese pizza usually has a thicker crust than other regional pizza but the base is still thin.
Thick base pizza is an american thing.
It's my understanding that Northern Italy (up towards France) has the thinner crust pizza. Southern Italy and Sicily make a much thicker crust pizza. (My grandmother was from Southern Italy and grandfather was from Palermo, Sicily.)
When I use the term 'crust' I'm not referring to the edge or rim, but the whole crust in general.
It seems we have differing opinions, and I certainly wouldn't insinuate that the other is incorrect. 🙂

For the 'Italians' here - I love this Italian guy's singing voice...

He's singing there with Romina Power, the daughter of American actor Tyrone Power.
...and with the gorgeous German singer Helene Fischer:

'that Steve guy' as you called him, was Steve Irwin , and he was killed by a stingray in 2006. Just shows, you can't muck around with deadly animals, no matter how much you think you know
Yeah, i heard something about that, too sad, cool guy I really liked him. He didn't muck with that comon brown he found under the hood of his car like he did with some of the other snakes. That one went stright into a bag. But watching that doco on the snakes gave me kinda a sneak peek at Australia.
