How much do you feed your kitty cat?

I think most know that fatcatruby is slightly "big boned". I was talking to a friend and decided I'd keep a better eye on what ruby eats. She has 1/2 samll tin of wet food when she comes in before sunset and has 3 handfuls of dry food throughout the day. I've started giving her the whole tin and she isn't eating as much dry food now....maybe 2 handfuls. Is she just a little piggy???

Oh yes CM, they look so undernourished lol....looking fab. umm, skwerl I just can't see ruby being happy with rice but she isn't nagging nearly as much now I'm giving her a whole small tin, so I'll keep doing it and keep an eye on her umm, "wobble" hahaa and Princess looks very regal...bet she's proud of her tail.

The cat just like we humans, may need to feel fuller/warmer during the cold weather.  

Just wean off the whole-tin-diet when the weather improves, perhaps.  I must remind myself too, when it warms up  

Cesare R  - I tried his "sshhhh..." with DDs barking dogs.  It works.  For me.  Not her.

Gosh that's a lot of food for cat. Old Puss would get 2 spoons of wet food and a small cup of dry food. He was lucky if the dog did't get it! He passed away 2 months ago at a great age of we think 16.
