So...this AMGEN which Abbott is promoting #ausvotes
http://ow.ly/oPDAW

"In December 2012, AMGEN pleaded guilty to illegally marketing its product Arensep and agreed to pay $US762 million in criminal penalties as well as settlements in related whistle-blower lawsuits. Arensep is a synthetic version of erythropoietin – EPO – an artificial blood booster that stimulates the production of red blood cells. EPO has valuable uses in the treatment of anaemia and in the 1990s was used enthusiastically – and illegally – by endurance athletes in search of an effective energy boost."

So he's promoting drugs in sport, not much different to his promotion and support of the pedophile priest. He gave a sworn character witness in court, after knowing what that priest had done. Astounding.

It's nice they do some cancer research madcat. Those sports drugs do cause cancers, so I guess it's best to have the cure on the market ready to exploit the victims' wallets...again...

Our PM should not be a walking billboard for any company.  🙂

I am still not sure if Tony knew the priest was guilty, however, he did give the reference related to the the time he knew him

I think what upset people is that he insisted on making a personal appearance in court for him after being told what he had done. If I recall the priest was found guilty and TA appeared in the appeal.

Yes he did know, AZ. He offered the testimonial after the charges had been laid and the priest had admitted guilt.
