Thanks Joz. No, I don't own one, but watching that guy make short work of a whole side of a house...that's the way to go! I have aluminum siding and don't want to change it, but it needs a new colour. It's yellow...why yellow! 🙂
It looks like it's supposed to resemble wood with lots of creases and such that would make using a roller impossible. I'd have to use a brush....YIKES!
I'm going with light blue and keeping the black shudders. I'm willing to spend 2 to $400 on the sprayer. The time it would save I could more than make up with my day job. And you know what else I like about aluminum siding? I'll tell you....it's like have a tin foil hat on everywhere inside my house!

i read around, jim, other posters experienced the same glitches - that would have been be frustrating and inconvenient
the systems only up to 400 bucks hey? then yeah.. i'd go fot it too
so many uses around the property - if youve got fencing too, you'd knock the job off in third the time i reckon and less demanding on the 'back'!
yellow's not too bad if it's more a beige sade, kind of neutral which would go with just about any roof color
i don't mind it
blue? yikes! if it's like a blue dun shade then yeahh

I was thinking a light blue. Beige is good....maybe better. A tan or light grey might be good too.

What's blue dun?

Hello Jimmy, I like blue, we are going to paint the house blue, like a storm blue. The bath question in the other thread was because we dont have flood holes in our baths, they do in other countries so i was just wondering.

storm blue boris? thats more like it but darkish for what jimmy wants, maybe it comes in different lighter shades?!
it really boils down to what shade you pick at the paint shop jimmy, looking at their color charts
blue dun is like what you get off white in whites, it's an off blue not a true blue color
although you might fancy a true blue shade, each to their own.
theres a online site where you can experiment with color choices for your house, i heard about it but i don't know the web page.

ive seen darker shades of beige, a mix between beige and tan around and i like it, even tan (dunno about grey, can look good applied in parts?! maybe)
haha listening to this reminded me of no longer wanting to post on uk
