Actress Miriam Margolyes has sparked outrage by admitting she hoped Boris Johnson would die when he was struck down by coronavirus.
The Harry Potter star, 78, made the shocking comments in a rant on Channel 4 comedy chat show The Last Leg on Friday night.
It comes just days after the Prime Minister revealed that doctors were preparing to announce his death in case he lost his battle with the virus, as he admitted he was 'a lucky man'.
But in an incredible outburst, Margolyes told viewers: 'I wanted him to die'.
What a disgusting old cow!

The comments were made on a comedy show.
It was said for effect, obviously.
She said: 'So then I wanted him to get better, which he did do, he did get better. But he didn't get better as a human being. And I really would prefer that. So, we're in the s**t, basically, here.'
Yeah, well.
You must have found that sort of comment hilarious!

I don't find her funny at all. She is in the same mould as Judith Lucy. They both have the potential to be really funny, but they cross the line and become crass and tacky. But then I'm not fond of people who make others laugh at somebody's expense, unless it is absolutely clear that it is all tongue in cheek. I sometimes wonder with both of them if they really care!

Is she even a comedian? Or just another controversial commentator out for laughs using mainstream news to garner likes for notoriety?

Well, really, I can't work you out either, Lio.
You think it's alright for a social commentator like Miriam Margolyes to wish death on a sitting PM, but you'r all outraged about a broadcaster to advise a cpl of backhanders against another sitting PM.
Get real.

I did say droll.
If we all liked the same comedy, it would be a boring old world.
My poor old mum would absolutely wet herself if someone fell over - even more if they were hurt.
Now I always found that weird.
