The MIL/Table cloth one was craftymamma. Last I heard she had her house on the market and was moving. She held her ground over the table cloth selecting the following year.

I don't think the paper plate mystery was ever solved.   There was a mother in law/tablecloth one there too. 

Anyone remember the pic posted by PCT I think, of some strange rubber man that appeared in the local paper somewhere? I always wondered what on earth it was. 

I don't remember that pic - must have been before my time - but I do remember one of a strange rubber creature that looked a bit like the Michelin Man sitting on the back of a boat .As I recall,  the person who posted it intimated that she could see something in the pic that nobody else could, but she never did tell anyone what it was - or maybe she did but I wasn't among the chosen few.:^O
