Tony's OK just a political animal like all the others.
It is the system that sucks.
How can a Government govern with less funds than they had last year?
Easy.
"miracle of the seven loaves and fishes"
all just good fun, you are all merely idiots.

As much as the establishment appreciates Julia's insights with regards to politics, this enterprise is generally far more enamoured of her cleaning skills.
Please accept our apologies to anyone offended.
Note to self : Shut down computer.

Do you think, in the scheme of things, that your like or dislike of anyone in particular makes an iota of difference?
What it does show though is your inflated feeling of self importance 🙂

This thread is only here to agitate and stir up people. It's not a debate thread as it's one persons opinion on what they like or dislike, like I don't like ice cream, it would get the same inane argument this one has.
It maybe helps the ones who have pent up disappointment that Ms Gillard was dumped by her own party and Mr Rudd was soundly thrashed, so maybe its a vent thread to help them, like the govt thread, it gives them what they want, like a dummy soother.

No, you just have double standards. Happy to take the mickey out of Abbott et al but you don't like it happening when it's Gillard.
Most laugh, as Julia did.
Laughing at oneself is different to sniggering about it in media. And woman just cannot win; if she wore "sensible" shoes the media would be sniggring about it too.
But there is a difference between the fall, and JG body shape, which both are totally irrelevant to her performance as our PM, and most of the stuff being discussed about TA. The way TA moves & presents himself shows something about him, which goes well with his personality, inability to put more than 3 intelligent words together, and the way it all reflects on our country. JG was well liked and respected all over the world, and since she quit politics, she has been doing number of interesting things, which only earned her more respect. I deal with number of people from o/s and I am constantly surprised how well JG is known all over the world, while TA if noticed is regarded with dismay. I'll bet that when he gets chucked out he will just slip into oblivion, and 3 months later it will be "Tony who?"

Super
"is different to sniggering about it in media. "
That's funny, all the media do it to everyone.
Aussie way of life, have a chuckle and move on. Every PM who has had a fall, slip, mis whatever has had the mickey
taken out of them about it.
I often wondered why the focus on Julia's dress, by no means the worst and no means the best.
I thought she looked good most of the time.
If body shape is irrelevant, then that should apply to all, not just her.

I disagree entirely with your argument that calling names of the PM for his stature and mannerisms is not the same as the criticisms directed to Gillard for her voice, bad grammar, gesticulations, pointing, and the way she walked and the infamous fall, It is exactly the same type of thing.
What's good for the goose is also good for the gander.
Miss Gillard made sure she was looked after, she had a job, after her ousting from politics. She formed a fund of over 200 million dollars, of taxpayers money for the Education for Girls NGO, she formed it so she could strut the world stage all at the poor beaten taxpayers expense.
There will never consensus about the Gillard and Rudd years, that will take decades for the voters and the Labor party to heal, but it will never be forgotten, the worst political disaster ever to befall Australia.

Absolutlety correct there... who is it that repeatedly refers to a previous PM's big a ss? Continual laughing at a female who had her high heel stuck in soft ground and tripped because of that.
Apart from that, I know that dogs and cats are allowed in the Lodge, I doubt that a mule would be, whatever size it was.
