there was a lot of focus on Julia Gillards clothing, most of it came from the murdoch press, a memorable chuckleworthy moment are these comments from Julie Bishop long before she posed for Who magazine wearing her Armani clothing

I think that shoot was for Ms Bishop being named "Woman of the Year".
It wasn't a trivial and desperate "fashion shoot" to prop herself up in the polls, Ms Bishop doesn't have to do that.

Yes, but we all know they are good friends. It was not nasty attack, it was a quib by friend. It was more tongue in the cheek, and we all know GG's tongue is pretty sharp, and her statements raise eyebrows.
