YEs you mean AGAIN.

He's already won an election and become a PM.

He's now a former PM.

Re: I don't think Tony Abbott will ever become PM

Why are the left so fearful of former Prime Minister Tony Abbott?

This morning’s Sneering Morning Herald offers the contemptible headline ‘Tony Abbott should go say most voters in his electorate.’

Reading through the detail in this piece of vitriol, one discovers that this is based on a telephone poll of just 743 voters in the Sydney electorate of Warringah, held by Mr Abbott since 1994. The division of Warringah has 102,574 voters. A more accurate headline would have been – ‘Tony Abbott should go say less than 1% of his electorate.’

What are the left so afraid of?

Re: I don't think Tony Abbott will ever become PM

it was a Reachtel survey conducted in a strong Lib seat

http://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2015/dec/19/tony-abbott-should-quit-parliament-voters-in-h...

The ReachTel survey of 743 Warringah residents in his 65% Liberal electorate was conducted on Thursday night for the Australia Institute.

The survey put support for Abbott’s retirement at 50.9%, with 36.7% saying it would make them more likely to vote Liberal in 2016. Another 45.8% said it would not affect their decision.

also published in the Age, the Sydney Morning Herald and Sky News

http://www.skynews.com.au/news/top-stories/2015/12/19/warringah-electors-want-abbott-out.html

( the Sky News headline looks to be more what you call "contemptible")

all polling is conducted in a similar fashion, using similar numbers of people

who Reachtell is

https://www.reachtel.com.au/about  (not associated with anyone politically)

the survey result is NOT the fault of the SMH . the headline  was in most papers- the worst sounding being Sky News ( imo)
