On the back of most water or powerade or other disposeable type bottles is a little thing that says they are returnable and I can get 10c a bottle!
In South Australia.

You should not have read the label, it's been on there for years.

But isn't the refund price included in the sale price in the first place?
Many years ago, about 1970, drink bottles had a refund in New South Wales. The actual shopkeeper was the person who handed back the refund. BUT due to lack of space within the shop, the "empties" were left out the back door.
Guess what? The larrikins used to take them from the back and bring them in the front door for a refund!

You could drink lots of Powerade, Farmer's Union Iced Coffee, beer and and Coke and bring all the empties over to SA and cash 'em in.
Do you get a refund if they're squashed bottles?
Mmm, could fit a mighty lot in the car if they're squashed flat bottles. 😄
