On the back of most water or powerade or other disposeable type bottles is a little thing that says they are returnable and I can get 10c a bottle!

I never bought bottled water until the desal plant started operating in Botany Bay. Our water from the tap tastes terrible now and if we put a jug of tap water in the fridge overnight it has a horroble brown sludge on the sides and bottom of the jug.
It is an expense I could do without but we only drink bottled water now when we drink plain water. Tap water is used for everything else.

Actually, I didn't think it was operational. The extreme drought conditions "dried up". We are now allowed to top up swimming pools, water lawns, etc. aren't we?
The powers that be, realised that there was so much conserving of the liquid, that income was spiralling downwards !!!!
