I hate summer!!!!!

I can't stand the heat and the next 2 days are going to be boilers.

I'm sick of the fires, I feel for all the people that have lost homes ect.

Come back autumn and winter.

We had a sensational day here in Melbourne today.  My MIL is up in country NSW, 46.5 degrees there this week.  She said she had a hot shower without turning the hot tap on.  We used to holiday up along the Murray and when my kids were small (so around 20 years ago) it used to be over 40 every day we were there, hasn't been like that for many years until this year.

I too detest the heat.

Cannot bear it.  Sweaty, cranky, unmotivated.  Migraines from heat.  Arghh.

Love winter, same reason as you Crystal.

Dragging the doonas out to lounge instead of turning on a heater.  Snuggling with my boy and the cats.  Hot milo with marshmallow treats before bed for us both. Actually feeling like wearing accessories, playing with different combos for going out, even if just down to the PO.  Now, even the thought of wearing jewelery makes me feel hotter!  Nothing but the basics atm.  Every summer I contemplate cutting all my hair off to be cooler, but can never bring myself to.

I worry about the old people who live on their own, with all windows shut because they are scared of being robbed or beaten up in their own homes, overheating and not drinking enough water.

I love and adore summer, the hotter the better. I wish it was like this 12 months of the year. But I hate the constant bushfire threat and hate to see the animals struggling in the heat. Poor doggies suffer twice, not only being hot all the time, but they miss out on their evening game of fetch, because I don't want to stress them further.  Makes them vewy sad 😞

Every summer I contemplate cutting all my hair off to be cooler, but can never bring myself to.

Unless your hair is uber short, I reckon you're better off having longer hair that you can put up. I wear my hair pulled back off my neck and face all summer long (also can't stand the feel of hair around my face at any time of year). Much cooler having hair off your neck.

I love summer.

I hate being cold.  That's one of the reasons we moved from Canberra.  I couldn't stand the idea of another winter there.  Scraping the ice off your car before you could drive home from a night out.  Having to put on 5 layers of clothes to go out.  Freezing cold feet any time you are outside.

Nup, give me a nice hot day when you can swim in the ocean and get about in shorts and a tee any time.  I love it.
