With a small group of 28 others...
It was awesome....
He is an amazing man with a great heart.... great ideas.... great sense of humour....
I liked him before but am now very impressed.
It was a privilege to be there and a night I will remember for a long time.

It must be your turn for the barraging today catsb.
When Tony A was in our area recently the only 'public' gathering he spoke at was invitation only to selected members of the public.
Preaching to the already converted?
That cuts out people who are not sure what party to vote for and would go along to listen to both parties leaders if they were giving public speeches in their area.

It wasn't a meet and greet tour tho, was it?
It was a dinner for party members from what I can gather.

I am so impressed with Tony.... not only did he listen to everyone but he asked us questions and really tried to understand our wishes for a new government.
He is so much better looking in person... and at the end of the evening when I went to get a photo with him he even remembered what I talked about and wished my son luck on his small business...
A lot of things were talked about and even the difficulty in getting the woman vote... I think if women met him in real life they would decide to vote for him... (not all women but a lot more)
Hitler was impressive and charming in person too. Doesn't mean he was good for the country.

That's all he ever seems comfortable doing.

No..the op went to a dinner. When TA was in our area he did the public speech to invited guests only AND a dinner party for members.
I mentioned the public speech because I do wonder why, when he bothers to travel to these smaller regional areas especially, he doesn't actually make himself available in any way to any member of the public.. potential voters he isn't going to meet/try and sway.

You do know that the election has not been called and that is when the OPPOSITION usually release their policies don't you????
I don't recall the Liberal party coming forth with policies when the date was set for September 15. My recollection is that the opposition went abnormally quiet.

I would attend a public speech given by both Kevin and Tony if they were giving one in my area.
I and others have been excluded by going to the one TA gave because it was invitation only.
