I am tired & wonder if others, who have the best interests of Australia at heart, feel the same.
I’m tired of spin & lies.
I’m tired of never getting an answer from a direct question from a politician.
I’m tired of policy failures like the pink batts, school halls, laptop computers every child was promised, the tool box of the future, the mining tax.
I’m tired of the live cattle knee jerk policy that has destroyed our trade with Indonesia.
I’m tired of the confected gender war.
I’m tired of the failure to protect our borders & sovereign rights.
I’m tired of the empty promises like NDIS & Gonski with no money to back them up.
I’m tired of the endless announcements spruiking motherhood policies & cash splashes.
I’m tired of the divisive politics turning Australians against others. I’m tired of the attacks on achievers.
I’m tired of the attack on our freedoms & freedom of speech.
I’m tired of the racist card.
I’m tired of the lunatic policies of the Greens fanatics.
I’m tired of forever trying to protect the man made fresh water lakes at the mouth of the Murray to the detriment of our farmers & the food bowl of Australia.
I’m tired of corruption & cronyism. ICAC trials on corrupt politicians.
I’m tired of the massive foreign aid that has no checks & balances.
I’m tired of the politics of populism, celebrity & picking winners.
I’m tired of the PM’s 350 media staff, churning out spin from focus groups.
I’m tired of name calling & personal attacks.
I’m tired of the selling of Australia’s finest arable land to overseas conglomerates.
I’m tired of the thousands of regulations to the tune of 350 per day to re control everything.
I’m tired of rent seekers & ratbag green policies.
I’m tired of the national debt & being lied to about it.
I’m tired of the corruption & bias of our media being bombarded with pre prepared media pieces, from the PM’s office, handed to tame media & told they can by- line it themselves.
I’m tired of diversion announcements (drugs in sport) being used to cover up budget failures.

, " they know they have loser on their hands with a penchant for putting his foot in his mouth."
last night (if you watched itQ@A) it was very clear that Abbott is hiding not only his policies . but himself. from the public. deceitfulness of this kind is not on.
I suspect we will see absolutely very little of Abbott until the very last minute during the next 7 months. The Liberal string holders aren't stupid -
This is a silly remark & I think you know it. Tony Abbott is the most successful opp leader in history.
He will be the man who despatches another Lab leader (Rudd was the first), He will be the man who dispatches Gillards party next Sept.
As for hiding Abbott, that's a ridiculous remark if you put it aside to look at Gillards cowardice not to be a guest on Ray Hadley talk back show. This is the program that reaches the biggest audience in NSW, NSW the state that will destroy Gillards Labor, she has nothing on Hadley but she would rather keep her false pride instead of reaching out to the most important voter block in the country/.
and...yes yes we all know about the "shock Jock & other smears she has uttered but as her political neck is on the chopping block one would think she'd swallow her pride for the sake of avoiding annihilation.

You might be right there SF .

9 AUGUST 2012
If Tony Abbott didn't exist, the media would have to invent him
They show their appreciation every time they dub him the best opposition leader in a generation or say,
Tony Abbott is playing the media for fools, dishing up the sort of content that he knows they find, in their weakened state, impossible to decline. By accepting it uncritically, they have created a positive feedback loop where he and the media now feed off each other.
It has reached the point that if Tony Abbott didn't exist, the media would have to invent him. In fact, that's exactly what they have done. And their version of him is cruising happily to the next election.

if he were 'the most successful oppn leader in history'' i wouldn't be boasting about it, in fact.. his failure to win the last election discredits that claim. success as an opposition leader is measured by getting out of that position. something he failed to do.

Tony Abbott speaks in stinted slogans.....if he can't prove that he has what it takes to be an articulate leader, then the rest is irrelevant.
By comparison I'm sure many of us saw Turnbull & Rudd debate with humour & intelligence just before Christmas (not about mindless 'he said she said' BS, but about Australia's dying manufacturing industry & how to fix that etc)...... and unless you haven't noticed...many Aussies would like to see more of that kind of debate instead of the mindless, brain numbing sloganism that is the trademark of the LNP these days.
Nothing silly about it. Most people dislike Abbott & find him cold, inarticulate and belligerent. Go figure eh? Maybe it's because....He is...lol
Can't wait to see him on Q & A where he'll no doubt have his foot in his mouth most of the time. It's a different ballgame when you're not controlling the questions - Community Cabinets & scripted election debates by comparison are just another example of insulting the collective intelligence of voters.

Roll on september. Silverfaun I could not find one point that I disagree with. The silent majority are just that, silent and waiting.
Agree laughing boy, The silent majority is waiting: X-(
Waiting with hostile intent, waiting with barely restrained anticipation, waiting to deal out the most punishing voter backlash in modern times, if you discount the total thrashing of Labor in QLD & NSW.
They were historic beatings & Labor know that Federally that is what they are in for.
I think we will see more Labor resignations before Sept 14th. What are they going to do?? blindly follow Labor over the precipice or go & hope they can scurry back to the union heirachy.

Tony Abbott speaks in stinted slogans...
Well at least he is not moving forward from working families to modern families.
Julia is the queen of sloganism. More fool her for uttering the stuff her script writers serve up.

Gillard's insulting "cash for you" slogan on social media that so infuriated voters they replied with " would you like to be run down by 100 duck sized horses or 1 horse sized duck". she scurried off that quick smart.
What never fails to astound is; how can she consistanly get it wrong, doesn't matter what she attempts, she gets it wrong every time, even the rare positive thing she attemps to release she still manages to snatch defeat & riducule from the jaws of sucess.
Is she unaware of the perception she projects out here in voter land or is she cosseted by her 350 media staff who shield her from most of it.
Doesn't she have a truth teller? someone not afraid to enlighten her? or is she bowed down to in fear like Rudd was.

they both use slogans. the difference is that gillard expands on her policies at length as well.
abbott does not... and lacks the ticker to do so.
