I started this diet Friday 22/08/14
The focus of this diet is to replace bread with ryvita crackers and drinks with plain water + lemon. The main food is dry beans which are soaked for 8 hours then cooked for 30min sometimes up to 1hr depends on bean. Then coated with a touch of vinegar and lemon. Then eat. I soak beans every night for the next day.
The diet goes like this:
Monday BREAKFAST: 2 ryvitas with spread cheese + coffee, LUNCH: beans, DINNER: beans with tuna or other fish.
Tuesday BREAKFAST: 2 ryvitas with spread cheese + coffee, LUNCH: beans, DINNER: beans with tuna or other fish.
Wednesday BREAKFAST: 2 ryvitas with spread cheese + coffee, LUNCH: beans, DINNER: beans with tuna or other fish.
Thursday BREAKFAST: 2 ryvitas with spread cheese + coffee, LUNCH: beans, DINNER: beans with tuna or other fish.
Friday BREAKFAST: 2 ryvitas with spread cheese + coffee, LUNCH: beans, DINNER: beans with tuna or other fish.
At lunch I sometimes add grilled fish to break the boredom or tuna.
CHEAT DAYS:
Saturday BREAKFAST eggs on toast with coffee, LUNCH: Eat anything, DINNER: Eat anything except bread
Sunday Basically same as Saturday but a bit less norti.
So far my waisteline is about 4 inches less and getting slimmer in the face.
My weight was 130kg - my target is 95kg. Lets see how far I get. LOL

Vinegar defarts the bean. Add the chili, but don't leave out the vinegar.
Any success yet?

I have modified the diet slightly to avoid the boredom. I have switched 2 days during Mon-Fri to eat green lentils instead of beans. Same method though, soak for 8 hours then boil till tender. After taking them out of the boil, rinse in cold water - then to make them tastier put 2 or 3 anchovie fillets in the pan with a bit pressed garlic and fry for about 30sec, then add lentils stir well till it is all blended nicely, not too long though. Serve immediately with a bit parmesan on top.
This has got to be the best weight loss thing I have ever done. The weight is still coming off. I have to buy new pants these are too loose.

To alleviate the boredom, why not add things
like celery, capsicum, radish, cucumber?
Also some herbs like basil - dry is good
That would make a tasty bean salad type thing and
they have no calories. Leave the skin on the
cucumber as it is an aid to digestion.
Wrap it in a lettuce leaf and it's a yummy wrap.
There's never any danger in a salad - only the dressing.
I admire the fact that you have stuck with this for so long.

but the point is,you can't eat like that forever. it's fine short term, but what will you do when the diet cycle is done?
think about that, please,so you can think about changing your eatting lifestyle afterwards, okay?
you're doing great, obviously,i don't want to see you be discouraged when you go back to a normal style of eating.

Eating beans and lentils instead of steak, burgers and pizza is already a big move. If I have to put celery, capsicum, radish and cucumber that might be too vegetarian for me. 😉 That's why I put the anchovy fillets and parmesan so that it is eatable enough, can cope with at least.

Don't like salad vegies????!!!!!
Won't keep it off with that attitude mister!!!
Didn't say you had to have all of them at once.
If you like burgers, just go with the lettuce.
One at a time.....baby steps....Ya never know
you might end up liking them.

Alright I will try it tonight. I still have a HUGE pot left over full of lentils from yesterdays batch. Tonight I'll vegetize it a bit 😉
