His name was probably withheld so the child can't be identified.

The mother of the kids also took out an order that their father and grandfather weren't to be left alone with the kids when they were staying on the weekends at the grandparents house to visit their father, even though there was no reason for the order.
Orders are not given on here say. There must have been a hearing and evidence given to enable that.

Honestly, why don't people choose the father of their children more carefully??
They are children. Children having children. Rarely works out well.

As someone else mentioned if the father could easily over power the child's mother if she was the appointed supervisor and he still lived in the home.
Appointed supervisors are usually someone employed to carry out that job.
This is my intrepretation of what court ordered supervised access/visits entail, especially ones where the parent has been charged with physically abusing the child.

How can the Childrenโs Contact Service be accessed?
In most circumstances families will use the Childrenโs Contact Service following the implementation of a Family Court Order or a Parenting Plan.
To arrange for either supervised visits or facilitated changeover both parents must phone their nearest service and organise an appointment.
Both parents will be individually interviewed in order to complete an intake assessment form. Specific matters of concern can be discussed at the interview.
Once an agreement is reached and all information collated including copies of current court orders and other relevant reports, the service will commence.

My friend had 2 children, and her sister had 2 children and they had no concerns ever with leaving their small children with their grandparents ( her mother and father).
Also as the parents of the 4 children were neglectful in looking after their children before the break up the kids spent a lot of time at their grandparents house (weekends, school holidays) the mother of the 4 kids didn't object to that or have any concerns about the grandfather then.
I am pretty sure there was no court case (NZ).. would have remembered that... might have been conditions in a separation/parenting plan?

Because some change over time, are not the person they were thought to be ๐
He is 19, time isn't a factor in this case though?

Time can be of a short period?

I meant she didn't have much time to get to know what he was going to be like. Yes, they can be deceitful, hide their real persona............... but young girls (really young girls) seem to be so "not choosy" now. Has it always been this way?

in a lot of cases the mothers are really no better - they know what is happrning but do nothing to stop it, heck they even join in sometimes but cry victim when the abuse is outted. .
like often attracts like.

Age has relevance on many things but I believe that bashing and hurting of a poor innocent baby isn't indicative of age at all.... That's in a persons nature.
The guy's a waste of space!
