I met another amazing person today.

Campbell Newman...... 

He has come to Bundaberg many times since the floods along with Tony Abbott... KRudd is yet to visit once... and since Rudd did not sign off on a lot of relief  money he probably won't be well received if he does visit. 

Anyway.. back to Mr Newman.... he has made some fantastic changes for our region and today he made a big announcement today that will create 500 jobs for the area... 

I was very impressed with Mr Newman and feel very happy that my vote went to such an amazing man. 

And for those that want to cry about the cuts I suggest you all look at the latest stats and see how much QLD has grown in the last 12 or so months. Jobs and growth are above and beyond what the rest of the countries growth has been.

I haven't met Mr Newman and not likely to as I don't live in Queensland.

I did find it a bit odd that the new LNP candidate for my electorate is a former staffer, personal friend and housemate of the outgoing MP ( two middle aged females).

His mother is Jocelyn Newman a former liberal senator. His father was also in politics.

I've never met Newman, but I dislike him. He seems arrogant and office-bound to me (could it be the air conditioning making him wheeze.). Catmad you said you were a member of newman's political party, did u resign before or after meeting him?

I met some amazing ladies on Saturday. They are the volunteer careers of wild life here in Tasmania. They do a fantastic job of raising funds for a wild life hospital . Plus care for orphaned baby wild life and those injured and recovering.
