I've just booked a cruise. Tips?

Not going for a few months but am wondering what I need to watch out for. I've never been on a cruise before and I can't imagine it being my thing but the kids were really keen.

It's one of the Royal Caribean ones that do the South pacific run for 10 days.

If you tend to over indulge in food, go to the dining room for your lunch and dinner - then you can pick a great meal and not be tempted by all the food on display at the buffet.

Take some crystallised ginger to nibble on - it is the BEST anti seasickness remedy I have ever found!

Get the kids into the kids clubs on board - they will have a ball, be kept entertained and will let you relax and enjoy.

Check out the shipboard newsletter and plan your activities for each day - unless you just want to lay around the pool and chill 🙂

Plenty of room in my suitacase joono. Only problem is that you would have to sleep in it cause there aint no room in the cabin - it's as small as!
