You know what they say about aeroplanes once they've passed a certain age...

The older they are, the better they were... ha ha.

Safety concerns. They definitely don't make them like they used to

Ah yes, the good old bamboo frame covered in canvas days are thing of the past...

I for one think that's a terrible shame...

Bring back biodegradable, sustainably built aircraft, I say... ha ha.

I remember my Father gave me a Sopwith Camel for my 12th birthday...

He said, in the immortal words of the Baron Von Richthofen "May you break both your arms and legs"...

I took the plane up for a spin, and being 12 years old, and having not the first idea how to fly, I came down with a distinct thud...

And broke both my arms and legs...

My father was so overcome with pride that he wept.... It was a true bonding moment for us both... ha ha.

I don't know.............planes in general are much safer now with Boeing having some of the safest.

There are simply so many more flights now which means stats of all sorts must go up.

Apparently still safer to fly than drive, statistically.

The Lion air Boeing that just crashed killing all on board was two months old.
They have just found faults in two of their other 737 aircraft.
