on the long weekend.

The weather was rubbish and all the Aussie Day Celebrations were cancelled.  I feel robbed.  :_|

my Family and friends are alive and safe.My home and their homes haven't been flooded or burnt.I consider myself very fortunate .My weekend could have been so very traumatic .

I had water lapping at my back door and it flooded under my house from the front.  I will spend next weekend cleaning up the mess downstairs. Fortunately we live upstairs and use downstairs mainly for storage, and most of that is off the floor.

If I got a refund on my weekend, I could clean up tomorrow

Things are not always as they seem  😛

i was in m qld for the floods it was scary we were worried we  wouldnt get back here to tassie
