I would like to know if anyone can tell me who is the the director in charge of gumtree?

I would really like to speak to a supervisor or manager in control of Gumtree. Ebay is the owner of that website and I feel it is poorly run where the customer service is just an absolute joke for good paying business owners.

The policies are archaic and when you try to speak to a manager or supervisor,t he customer service team make you run around in circles.

They are just a bunch of cheap service people from the philippines.

Where has the customer service gone in that gumtree?

If anyone can shed some light on who we can talk to over there, or even get acontact number for someone, then that would be great.

I am almost considering to spend my own money to rival gumtree with another website. One that will be more customer focused.

What is the type of issue you have that you want them to communicate with you about? Something that went wrong with a sale or purchase.? Or some feature on their website you don't like?

As others have mentioned customer service ( paid employees) doesn't come cheap. For a business that let's you advt for free they don't have unlimited money for staff wages. Same as budget airlines, budget telecoms etc..they have poor customer service as they have to keep their costs low by spending least amount possible on support staff wages.

Never had a prob with Gumtree, bought and sold heaps, hassle free. 

Maybe it's all about expectations?
