ID names and how you got there :)

I see many fantastic ID names on here and am wondering if you  could tell us how you thought of it and what  meaning it has, if any.

This is a fun thread that I thought would be a great thread for Friday.

Mine was originally blue_cat_not_dancing about 9 years ago. I was suffering from depression[blue], loved cats [cat] and was unable to dance due to two broken ankles [not dancing]. I had many variations over the years, blue cat dancing; blue cat hunting;blue cat evil; blue cat devil and I don't remember the others but they all had "blue cat" in them. The blue cat devil one came about when I was blue cat evil[ part of the evil crew] after I called Icy , Icky, and she called me blue cat devil which I liked the sound of so changed it to that.

I closed my account then after a while, I changed my mind so I opened another account and have been bluecat*dancing ever since.

I remember that lol.

Re: ID names and how you got there :)

My ID is a deviation of the Company's name that I work for .

After a refurbishment of the call centre, everybody thought it would be a good idea to bring all their junk out to reception while work was in progress. Including a whole stack of underdesk chair mats.

Thing is, after renovations, they didn't want them back

.

So I opened up an eBay account and sold them off. Got rid of them and made about $200 for the company!

I've experimented with other ID's over the years but have only retained this one and another.

Tay is just my childhood nickname. I had to do the asterix's because Tay is already taken. I got the nickname Tay because my brother couldn't pronounce my name when he first started talking..

Mines obvious - a martini is my first drink of choice lol!

Also my name is Tina and I was often called 'Tini' so it kinda fits.

I have had the same ID ever since I joined ebay, which was in 2003.

My dog is a cavoodle hence my ID. 🙂

Re: ID names and how you got there :)

Took the name for this from my orginal siggie line years ago on my other id which I posted with back then plus another poster couldn't get my id right so nicknamed me 'Ivy' and it stuck then another peep made me an avi of the character poison ivy from the batman film (thanks littlemissfly) and this id was born out of that.

Re: ID names and how you got there :)

Mine have changed over the years according to whatever has been going on in my life...

lilmstrish ~ Friend used to call me that

another*zero*feedback*id ~ A time in my life I needed advice about something my daughter was going through and didn't want to be identifiable and there were constant complaints about zero feedback ID's posting just to cause trouble.

mum*on*a*mission ~ I was on a mission for my kids and others that had been through what mine had.

flutter*buy*blue ~ I loved butterflies and my tattoo is in blue shades.

just*trish ~ Self explanatory.

new*beginnings*2010 ~ Left ex-husband and starting afresh with my girls.

*loveliveshere* ~ Chosen by members here after our housefire and my then fiance saving my life.

we*proved*them*wrong ~ After we got married and people previously being quite nasty about our relationship and saying it wouldn't last etc etc.

everything*that*i*ever*wanted ~ Because I now truly have everything that I ever wanted...Two of the best daughters I could ever hope for, a beautiful husband, a stable and love-filled home, amazing friends, re-established relationships with my sisters and the most worderfully supportive Church Family who are more of a family than my biological family. I am doing what I love, surrounded by fantastic people, feel totally secure and loved and hopeful for the future. I couldn't ask for more...

I've always been a big horse racing fan.
Shuvee was twice a chapion racehorse in the United States, in 1970 and 1971.
I added an extra "e" to her name.
