ILLEGAL BOATS "WHAT HAPPENED TO FAIR PLAY?"

The GREENS and ALP are part of the PROBLEM not the SOLUTION.

The community is fed up with the antics of the ALP and Greens especially “cry me a river” Sarah Hanson Young.

The AUSTRALIAN PEOPLE don't need a minute by minute update of what occurs, WE WANT THE BOATS STOPPED. The only peeple that are demanding minute by minute information are the GREENS and the FAILED ALP supporters who created this problem in the first place

That pathetic woman Sarah Hanson Young from the Greens and  the ALP are undertaking every possible means to undermine Australian sovereignty and encourage the influx of illegal boat arrivals dealing directly with criminals trading in human trafficking.

Never have the Greens or ALP spoken out against those opportunistic parasites making a fortune from those seeking ILLEGAL entry to Australia.

Blame every single DEATH at sea on the bloodied hands of Kevin Rudd, Julia Gillard, ALP and of course the disgraceful blind as a bat GREENS.

Given the press conference by Scott Morrison this morning there is no doubt “cry me a river” Sarah Hanson Young of the Greens and  the ALP will hold a press conference and distort the facts solely to undermine the proven effective efforts of the Abbott Government.

Their actions will only serve to AID the CRIMINALS organising the boats in what has become a lucrative business that makes the drug trade seem trivial.

A few questions for “cry me a river” Sarah Hanson Young, the Greens and the ALP and the bleeding heart left leaning people

 1. Have the GREENS and the ALP and Left  ever pressed the Indonesian government to mutually respect Australian sovereignty as they demand we respect theirs?

 2. Given the Indonesian border represents less than 12% of our own border, how difficult is it for them to be pro active, detect & prevent the illegal departure of illegal boats headed for our borders?

 3. “cry me a river” Sarah Hanson Young  and the ALP in case you have not noticed these boats are not the size of a “tin dingy”, they are more than double the size of a BUS, how the hell are these boats departing Indonesia so frequently undetected?

 4. Why is Indonesia allowing them to depart in full knowledge they are intruding on our sovereignty yet demanding we respect their sovereignty?

 5. Will Indonesia allow Australian resources into their country to aid and detect these unseaworthy death traps “boats cramped with human lives” to prevent their departure thus abate the current situation and negate the pathetic one way discussion on Indonesian Sovereignty?

 6. If Indonesia is INCAPABLE of detecting and stopping these boats before they depart their ports and shores WHY WOULD THEY REFUSE Australian assistance to achieve that goal?

 7. Why is this perverted underhanded situation been supported by the GREENS, The ALP and UNIONS?

ALP and GREENS are you aware that respect is a two way street?

This will come as news to the GREENS and  the ALP and LEFT, "Respect is a mutual understanding set on a level playing field where by both parties agree on a mutual undertaking that protects the interests of both entities"

There is no doubt the ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA has no intention of respecting Australia, they demand respect yet do not reciprocate with equal mutual respect.

The fact of the matter and core of the problem is “there are Indonesian officials, police, security officers” that are part of this hideous deadly business been supported by “cry me a river” Sarah Hanson Young, The GREENS and the ALP

Put the shoe on the other foot and imagine the outcry from Indonesia if the situation was reversed and illegal's were departing our shores to settle in Indonesia!!!!

We are fed up with the perversion, distortion and outright manipulation from the GREENS and the failed ALP

The undisputed case is Indonesia for one reason or another is unable, incapable or unwilling to stop the departure of these boats and have no valid reason to object to Australian assistance to prevent the departures thereby nullifying the current situation.

Our foreign AID to Indonesia must be conditional on them agreeing to Australian resources to detecting stopping these boats before they hit the high seas.

The current situation is untenable and there is no doubt Australian Aerial surveillance and on the ground intelligence will dramatically if not totally stop these boats.

Those on the boats must all be arrested, interrogated so the traffickers are arrested and the entire business shut down.

Those arrested MUST then be placed in UN refugee camps where they can wait their turn like 99% of all other refugees and not given preferential treatment and allowed to queue jump at the expense of law abiding refugees.

Sadly people like the ALP, GREENS and “cry me a river” Sarah Hanson Young are incapable of a fair and balanced approach where by the agree that all refugees are treated fairly and equally.

These pathetic political parties would rather give preference to those that run the gauntlet, risk their own lives and those of their children and deal with criminals. This is the ALP, UNION, GREEN way of formulating policy.

No matter how you dissect the situation the GREENS and ALP are part of the PROBLEM not the SOLUTION.

Re: ILLEGAL BOATS "WHAT HAPPENED TO FAIR PLAY?"

Myanmar refugees killed in fire at Thai camp

Dozens of other people were injured in the fire with women, children and the elderly believed to make up the majority of the victims.

Police on Saturday said around 400 temporary homes had been incinerated, while the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Bureau said a school, clinic and two food warehouses had also been destroyed.

The Thai government pledged an investigation into the fire at the camp, which houses roughly 3,700 refugees. (believed to have been started by accident)

The density of the housing and lack of firefighting equipment mean large numbers of shelters are often destroyed,

Ten camps strung out along the Thai-Myanmar border house a total of about 130,000 people, who first began arriving in the 1980s.

Where is your compassion for these people?

Don't their lives have value?

Not at all Crikey*Mate...in fact similar thinking to that which those Stateless Jewish Asylum seekers met still amazingly exist today ....add though that some would have them treated harsher !

If someone is in need in front of you would you help them or not ?

If not how would feel about YOUR chosen behaviour ?

Yes, we are.

We are discussing people's lives.

Yet for some reason, those without money aren't valued as highly.

It's their lives too.

Why are their lives less important?

Unfortunately, that is how it is, and I am not talking just about refugees.

People with money are and always were valued more highly; unpalatable as it is.  Life is not fair and never will be.

Refugee problem is huge, worldwide and the situation chaotic.  There is no queue.  People apply to migrate to countries which they know do take refugees, but whether their application gets to be looked at is anybody's guess.  In this moment there are couple of millions of people sitting in tents in bellow freezing temperatures, in countries bordering with Syria.  If any of them have enough money to get themselves out of there it would be insane not to do so.  I am sure those running these camps are also pleased if people who can go elsewhere do so.

Those people who chose to take care of themselves rather than sit in the camps (sometimes for decades) are exactly the kind of people we want = people with energy, get up & go, and tackle any obstacle put in their way.  They are the kind of people that made Australia what it is now.

I wish we could stop these ridiculous wars, I wish we could take all the misplaced people, but obviously that is not going to happen.  So why are we wasting billions trying to stop handful of desperate people?  The money would be better spent on processing those who make it here as fast as we can, resettling those who are genuine refugees, deporting the few who aren't, and use the rest of the money for something more useful - maybe helping those stuck in the refugees camps by funding more health and education services.

Re: ILLEGAL BOATS "WHAT HAPPENED TO FAIR PLAY?"

Just because I;m not showing anger towards people who seek Asylum in this Country ....does not mean that I LACK compassion for other people in need.

compassion and kindness ..............are consistant rather than a variable for some (and I would hope most) people .

If I show lack of compassion for anyone in need ......then I have a problem

and the problem is mine to deal with

The people arriving on the boats have a choice; to be part of the picture above or get into a boat risking their lives.  Not much choice is it?  I know what I would do.  Sitting around waiting with nothing to do would sent me insane; I 'd get in the boat.

And, by the way, my compassion for the people does not mean that I cannot also feel for the dogs in the pictures.  Obviously, I am more concerned about the fate of these people and especially the little ones.

It's not fair Nova.

There are about 500 kids who have completed grdae 12 to a Qld standard, trapped in those camps.

They have university places waiting for them (paid for by private donors as international student rates)

We hacve people prepared to sponsor them and house and feed and support them.

Yet they are not allowed to come. They have to wait.

And there is no list? Of course there is. And every time someone else gets put ahead of them and resources are diverted they have to wait a little bit longer.

How many years should they wait for?

and determination? Do you knopw what these people have been through and go through just to make it through each day?

They can't leave, they'll get shot and as their government took everything off them before torturing and enslaving them, they haven't got any money. They can't pay to get on a boat. It's not that they don't want to and don't "take care of themselves" They have NOTHING and yet they take care of themselves anyway. They have NO choice.

Last year, the Burmese Gov released a group of 60 Karen. Gave them permission to leave and cross the border into Thailand. They had already taken and destroyed everything these people owned, they had the clothes they walked in, no shoes and not even a water bottle.

and ya know what those millitants did? They sat and laughed as they crossed the border and FIRED weapons at them! They fired WEAPONS at these people who were so desperate to leave that they are prepared to risk the countless landmines, and whilst walking in fear of the landmines, never knowing iof the last step would be your last, They SHOT AT THEM.

They shot a wioman, infront of her kids and husband. Just shot her dead in front of them. They also got the little girl (about 9) in the thigh and some other buckshot as well.

And you know how determined these people were? They carried the dead body of their mother and wife. They carried the little girl when the pain from the bullet was too much for her to walk.

They walked like that, with no shoes, no water for 2 days, before they got to the intake point. Two days and nights in the rainforrest amongst the mines and animals.

How's that for determination?

And then, after the intake point, they walk for 8 and 10 days to get to one of the camps with a school for their kids, to give the kids some shot at a future. Through dense jungle/rainforrest.

Please don't tell me they have no determination to look after themselves.

Living in Exile – the Karen Refugee Camps in Thailand

Out of sight, out of mind, these forgotten people fight for survival deep in the rain forests and up remote mountains near the Thai/Burma border.

They are no more deserving or special than any of the other million refugees.

If they make it here they deserve a chance to stay and raise their families, as do most of the others who make it here. We condemn them for risking the lives of the women and children and yet we changed the rules to stop the husband or brother making the trip first in the hope of then bringing the family.

Would you stay in a refugee camp for 30 years or would you take the risk of finding a safe country by what ever means?
