Our local FB theme this week is summer. Some beautiful shots last week for silhouette. Action and motion liked too.

I like Christmas/December as well. We could get a wonderful array of images considering our northern hemisphere contributors as well.

Otherwise I quite like the Today idea.

I liked the thread that was done with 2 topics in one photo.

Something like, Dog and car, beach and ball, cake and shovel, wings and red.

Or santa and wine.

Lurker suggested we have a special christmas photo thread that runs for a few weeks. So people can show off their or other peoples chrissy lights an displays etc

Last christmas we had two themes running concurrently over two weeks, to allow for people who were away for the holidays. I thought we could start the Xmas one in a couple of weeks.

'Today' was a theme I'd had in mind for a while. Today I Saw.

Dsk was out last night, and didn't have time to think of a theme. She will still be choosing the theme, just trying to help her out with some ideas.
