Nothing is actually something.
The way I see it, eternity can not be created or destroyed.
Seems logical & obvious to me.

Really? Some actual proof would be nice.
If you want proof then look in the mirror and ask yourself what you see. Is there not a complex being there looking back at you?
In the beginning there was nothingness. Can a random spark happen in nothingness and then thousands or millions of years later you hop in the car and go to the dvd store to pick up that Liam Neeson movie you heard about. And on the way home you pick up some pizza and drinks?

Who created this higher power / being then?

That's the million dollar question *tippy*toes*. Of course I have wondered this myself. I don't think the answer is the same as the one to who created us. Getting away from the human concept of beginning and end, I would say that there's a whole explanation for God's existence that's way out of the realm of our thinking and understanding,

Those Books - were written by man.

That is true. And I have found that each branch of Christianity interprets the Bible differently.

We cant under stand Infinity or Eternity because every thing in our lives has a beginning and a end,
Night, Day
Life, Death

And because we assume everything has a beginning and an end, we think that way about the universe too. Perhaps the universe just is, always has been and always will be. If that is the case then we don't need to search for a god or a big bang like theory to explain how we got here!

I see a life form that evolved from the universe looking at itself, one of the life forms that is a phenomenon of the universe as we know it.
And our universe a mere speck - phenomenon that also evolved from the vastness of eternity that was always something, not nothing
