To my knowledge there are no historical or biblical records of Jesus that were written during his lifetime. The historical accounts of Jesus by the Jewish historian Josephus and the Roman historian Tacitus were (supposedly} written during the second half of the first Century. Their texts state, "Someone named Christus was the founder of the movement bearing his name and he was executed during the reign of Tiberius by order of Pontius Pilate".
There are divided opinions on their authenticity and some scholars suggest the information was more than likely obtained from Christians. There is also some evidence that the records were tampered with by the Church over the next few Centuries. Of course nobody knows who wrote the gospels according to Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. But the evidence also suggests they too were written from the second half of the first Century onwards and have been amended well over a thousand times by the Church.
So apparently, there are no first hand historical or biblical accounts of Jesus that were written during the time he lived.

I would have expected JC to have written something that were kept by his followers or someone drew a picture of him and used it as a worship piece that would have been copied and passed on for generation.

Then why is he almost always depicted as a European, when by definition he was middle-eastern?
Of course he could have been a blow-in from up North, but that would negate the claim that he was Palestinian. And the entire Christian myth.

Every religion seems to have had a founder or founders of some kind - Siddhฤrtha Gautama (Buddha), Moses (described as 'The Lawgiver') Mohamed, Joseph Smith, L Ron Hubbard.
There were probably a good many itinerant preachers and rabbble rousers drifting around Palestine at that time. They would have been seen as rouble makers by the Roman Governors and I imagine many of them were executed. Maybe Jesus was just one of these 'martyrs', but was adopted by a particularly forceful group of followers - or maybe he is a Robin Hood figure - a mythical amalgam of several of those 'holy men'.

Well, it's obvious some higher power / being created us. We didn't come from nothing. Perhaps he wanted company.

Really? Some actual proof would be nice.

Well it's obvious some higher power didn't come from nothing. Perhaps she is needy and wanted company.
