showed this to my husband, and his first words were….. (where does he have his Pen*s?)  😑…

then I noticed the small ‘tail’ on his 3rd leg. I’m wondering if he was a conjoined twin in the making, that never eventuated?

Yes, although I think that when he was born (towards the end of the 19th century) they did not know, and they only fully understood later.
