Went into toyworld last Mon.
Asked to see a gift for a one year old grandson---not made of plastic.
Walked the shop and was shown a wooden box with blocks-
the only item in there not plastic-it was suitable for 3yo plus
but i purchased it...................................................................Richo.

If you think a carbon tax would prevent this, I question just who the "dumbo" is, Lakes.
i have no doubts

Why is it that Tony Abbott only says three words at a time whenever he speaks?

just a precaution. if he speaks unrehearsed he might say what he really thinks. credlin won't allow that, she's the real boss.

Plastic is a cancer on society & I would never buy that cheap plastic stuff. Just the packaging alone is a pox on the planet let alone the contents. There should be a tax on this type of pollution.

Companies that produce the endless plastic rubbish should be made responsible for the waste they create, it should be dumped right back on their doorstep.

Donna, if you really care about polution apparently you don't mention our Government while discussing polution .
like...seriously,what would our Government have to do with solutions for managing polution .
and I must have missed 'you' complaining about recent political threads
edit: Sorry I should have replied to the opening post
