I guess the real question is if whether we beleive it is man made?
Climate is changing but there are many intelligent (not abbott) people that believe it is not caused by humans.
My personal belief is that pollution cannot be helping
one of my friends is thus afflicted. well versed in heartland propoganda, he relentlessly persues me with the stuff.
i just let him go as he's beyond saving.
And no doubt LL he says the same of you.
There is no aguing with a closed mind no matter how logical the argument is

I think it is because his tongue gets in the way. He has to rein it back from his bottom lip. Look again at his christmas message.

Close to one third of the world's current population is already starving because there's just not enough food being produced to feed them.
Unless steps are taken right now to address the issue, when the world's population has doubled in less than another 50 years and there's insufficient food to satisfy ourselves, let alone export to other countries, I predict a breakdown of civilisation as we know it and a shift to total anarchy where only the strongest and fittest will survive.
There is more than enough food produced to feed the world. The problem is with the distribution. Most of it goes to the rich countries, and one third of that goes into the rubbish bin, so we're told.

Hello, everyone. This thread is getting a little off-topic and interpersonal. Could we please bring the discussion back to a less interpersonal state.
Thanks!”
Merry Christmas.

Some sellers of bulk plastic (items) should worry about the pollution it causes. 'Many shops now no longer use plastic bags
, McDonalds discontinued using styrofoam, there are many examples of corporate resposibility and CLEAN UP AUSTRALIA is the result of plastic pollution.
In my opinion it is everybody's responsibilty to be aware of overpackaging. At the moment there is no pollution tax on those polluters.

i went to the chemist to get some contact lense all purpose liquid.
this time i was fast enough to tell the checkout person to please not put it into a paper bag.
it comes in 2 plastic bottles inside a cardboard box.
why on earth would it need to be inside a paper bag as well which i will throw away about 2 minutes later when i get home?
i also go shopping with a cotton shopping bag into which i put my stuff. no one can see it and it's not as if i bought anything embarassing (not starting to discuss that NOTHING should be embarassing to buy)....
just makes me go AAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHHH
