If you wish to protest about Murdoch's involvment in the election...

There is an online peition you can sign:

"We, the undersigned, request that the Australian Press Council conduct an investigation into News Corp Australia’s media coverage of the 2013 Australian federal election campaign.

We also request that appropriate action is taken to prevent this from happening again in the future."

Wat a waste of time and effort, nothing will ever eventuate from signing the partition but if it makes you feel justified and vindicated in some way then go ahead give him a good laugh.

it helps. if he knows how much he's hated, it may speed up his demise.

How very gracious of you, Newstart. We can now proceed with a clear conscience.

BTW It's good to know someone on these boards has such an intimate insight into the working's of Tony Abbott's mind. I would never have guessed that he would consider a petition signed by thousands of the people he now represents as a subject for disrespect and amusement - perhaps I have overestimated his character.

If signing the petition makes that happen, mine must be tapped too so let's exchange phone numbers and give them something really spicy to listen to! 😉

Newstart, Rupert Murdoch was warned by Julian Disney about his political coverage pre election.

and ....

Mr Abbott said the people of Australia had shown they would determine who would govern or be prime minister of the country.

“Today the people of Australia have declared that the right to govern this country does not belong to Mr Rudd or to me or to his party or to ours but it belongs to you, the people of Australia,“ he said.

And you will punish anyone who takes you for granted.”

Yes I have seen it Deb, and I have signed it too .............10 times.....all it would take would be a small algorithm and you could sign it 50,000 times which no doubt has already been done

There is no checking if the name and email address is valid, so a person called Xaphod Beeblebrox with the email address of xphod@hitchhikers.com  had signed it 10 times

Sort of shoots loles in the validity of the petition process of tha site huh ?

Highlights peoples gullibility too dont you think?

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.
