Inconsiderate or just plain rude?

WTH is wrong with people? Are they just so self absorbed that they dont think about other people or are they just plain rude?

In the last 4 months these are some of the rude people ive had to deal with

1. Woman likes to go for 6am walks up my street. She has her phone with headphones on. She holds the phone in front of her and yells into it the whole time she is walking. She is so loud she wakes all of my household up. I went out and asked her to stop. She now only does it on Sat and Sun mornings. How nice of her...NOT

2. Man likes to go for walks at 5:15am every weekday morning. No big deal apart from the fact that he bounces a basketball while walking. So at 5:15am on the dot we hear BOING....BOING....BOING....BOING. Hubby goes out and asks him to stop bouncing the ball and is told to "Bleep off. Its a free country"

3. Ive had to leave notes on 3 people cars who decide that rather than walk a small distance to the high school, they will just park across my driveway instead

4. Neighbours moved out of their house on the weekend. They must of decided that they didnt need the ugly metal drum that they used to keep their chook food in at their new house. So where do they leave it? On the grass area right out the front of my house. Hubby rolled it back down their driveway.

5. 9:30pm last night. Kids are in bed and hubby and I are watching Breaking Bad (great show) when all of a sudden we hear a loud motorbike noise outside. We wait a while so see if it goes away but it doesnt. We go take a look and a group of 4 adults have decided that 9:30pm would be a great time to take their mini, noisy as hell, motorbike for a ride on the tennis courts across the road from my house. I go over and say "Hey, i have kids trying to sleep in here." They respond with "So what?" I then say "I'll just go call the cops then." So they leave

I mean come on. WTH is wrong with these people?

I think many had too much freedom and weren't taught manners or respect the way we were.

I blame the ones that didn't pass the basics on.

Oh dear, It sounds like you need to move to a farm.

Ooops, no, there are noisy cows and birds on farms.

Turn your TV or radio up and ignore them.

Hubby would move to a farm but im a city gal 🙂

I know the suburbs cant be dead quiet. Dogs bark, cars drive, kids yell etc, but the things ive posted are not normal suburban noises and they are certainly not at acceptable times

Just plain rude.

Party in our unit block cpl years ago, still in full swing at 4am.

Usually any party in the street, ppl know to turn the noise down by 10pm.

I stuck my head out the window and yelled "do you know what effing time it is ?"

Drunk yells back "it's 4 o'clock". Geez I was cranky! Woman Very Happy

They quietened right down after that, though.

Not long after, they moved out, so that was good, they were a bunch of ratbags.

why should she be forced  to do that especially when the

children are in bed?  what if she lived in a unit?

there are noise restriction laws in place for a reason.

And its fine to dump your unwanted rubbish on others front lawns?

Re: Inconsiderate or just plain rude?

There is no law that says you can't walk on a public street talking on your phone.

Same with the ball.

Move house? To one that is further back from the street.. with bedrooms at the back.

I dont have my tv or radio on at 5:15am. I also didnt want to have to turn my tv up full ball to block out the noise last night that was going to wake my kids. I also dont see how turning the tv up would help in the cases of people parking across my driveway or dumping their rubbish on my front yard.
