Inconsiderate or just plain rude?

WTH is wrong with people? Are they just so self absorbed that they dont think about other people or are they just plain rude?

In the last 4 months these are some of the rude people ive had to deal with

1. Woman likes to go for 6am walks up my street. She has her phone with headphones on. She holds the phone in front of her and yells into it the whole time she is walking. She is so loud she wakes all of my household up. I went out and asked her to stop. She now only does it on Sat and Sun mornings. How nice of her...NOT

2. Man likes to go for walks at 5:15am every weekday morning. No big deal apart from the fact that he bounces a basketball while walking. So at 5:15am on the dot we hear BOING....BOING....BOING....BOING. Hubby goes out and asks him to stop bouncing the ball and is told to "Bleep off. Its a free country"

3. Ive had to leave notes on 3 people cars who decide that rather than walk a small distance to the high school, they will just park across my driveway instead

4. Neighbours moved out of their house on the weekend. They must of decided that they didnt need the ugly metal drum that they used to keep their chook food in at their new house. So where do they leave it? On the grass area right out the front of my house. Hubby rolled it back down their driveway.

5. 9:30pm last night. Kids are in bed and hubby and I are watching Breaking Bad (great show) when all of a sudden we hear a loud motorbike noise outside. We wait a while so see if it goes away but it doesnt. We go take a look and a group of 4 adults have decided that 9:30pm would be a great time to take their mini, noisy as hell, motorbike for a ride on the tennis courts across the road from my house. I go over and say "Hey, i have kids trying to sleep in here." They respond with "So what?" I then say "I'll just go call the cops then." So they leave

I mean come on. WTH is wrong with these people?

I hope a couple of my neighbours learnt about consideration of their cat's welfare the other night.

An almighty fight in my front yard resulted in copious quantities of fluff and 2  collars being left behind.

The native birds wont have to travel far for nesting material for awhile.  And I won't have to worry about cat urine on the car wheels.

with the exception of the motorcycle, you don't think they should be able to do everything that the rest of the population does.

Yeah, but were you bouncing those dogs on the sidewalk?

I'm laughing here as I read the posts because in the background I hear a youngster bouncing, probably a basketball on the sidewalk in front of my house.  Well, it's just 6:00 PM here.............so bounce away, I say. 🙂

Not the same situation as described in the opening post. In this country we have laws against noise in residential areas, they vary in different places, but persistent regular noise at times like 5.30am is considered unreasonable by a few councils. Have to demonstrate it affects one and keep a diary of the noise where I am.

For the odd noise now and then that isn't unreasonable, but continual earplug use can have an effect on your ears.

Including pain or infection. Best not to wear them every night.

Had that issue many years ago with what I thought was a dog, it would pee on all four wheels on a Sunday night after I washed the car, ened up wiring up a little transformer, one lead to the car and the other to an earth stake in the damp ground.
never happened again.
