Inconsiderate or just plain rude?

WTH is wrong with people? Are they just so self absorbed that they dont think about other people or are they just plain rude?

In the last 4 months these are some of the rude people ive had to deal with

1. Woman likes to go for 6am walks up my street. She has her phone with headphones on. She holds the phone in front of her and yells into it the whole time she is walking. She is so loud she wakes all of my household up. I went out and asked her to stop. She now only does it on Sat and Sun mornings. How nice of her...NOT

2. Man likes to go for walks at 5:15am every weekday morning. No big deal apart from the fact that he bounces a basketball while walking. So at 5:15am on the dot we hear BOING....BOING....BOING....BOING. Hubby goes out and asks him to stop bouncing the ball and is told to "Bleep off. Its a free country"

3. Ive had to leave notes on 3 people cars who decide that rather than walk a small distance to the high school, they will just park across my driveway instead

4. Neighbours moved out of their house on the weekend. They must of decided that they didnt need the ugly metal drum that they used to keep their chook food in at their new house. So where do they leave it? On the grass area right out the front of my house. Hubby rolled it back down their driveway.

5. 9:30pm last night. Kids are in bed and hubby and I are watching Breaking Bad (great show) when all of a sudden we hear a loud motorbike noise outside. We wait a while so see if it goes away but it doesnt. We go take a look and a group of 4 adults have decided that 9:30pm would be a great time to take their mini, noisy as hell, motorbike for a ride on the tennis courts across the road from my house. I go over and say "Hey, i have kids trying to sleep in here." They respond with "So what?" I then say "I'll just go call the cops then." So they leave

I mean come on. WTH is wrong with these people?

I live on a busy street near a school. Have learned to block it out. Must admit some are too noisey to block out.

Lots of rude people. Shopping yesterday. Saw a youngish woman having a go at young shop assistant because the toy she wanted was sold out.

Maybe you(maybe your neighbours too) could put your sprinkler at the front of your garden and turn it on full pelt around those times.

Or just  have a neighbourhood hose fight right when one of these morons is walking past.

Re: Inconsiderate or just plain rude?

I then say "I'll just go call the cops then." So they leave

I would leave my own place, assuming I had one, if you told me that. I couldn't get away with this, but as for you,

If you have two or more phones in your house, hold one out the door and say,

"hey lady !, phone call it's for you"

Grab your other phone on the same line or have one of your family on it, and then she might hear you. lol.

Get a basketball, follow him home, wait until it looks like he's sleeping, you know the rest.

3. Ive had to leave notes on 3 people cars who decide that rather than walk a small distance to the high school, they will just park across my driveway instead

Off your property, get over it, on your property or blocking you, call a tow truck and have them impounded.

5. 9:30pm last night. Kids are in bed and hubby and I are watching Breaking Bad (great show) when all of a sudden we hear a loud motorbike noise outside. We wait a while so see if it goes away but it doesnt. solved your own problem, that wouldn't work for me, most people know police won't help me in anything.

Re: Inconsiderate or just plain rude?

You could buy the lady a handsfree headset for her phone for xmas.

Hubby says you can borrow his .410 shotgun to blast the bounce out of the basketball.

Buy some collapsible witches hats and put them in front of your driveway

with the exception of the motorcycle, you don't think they should be able to do everything that the rest of the population does.

I had a lady have a go at me about not having the speaker she wanted in stock.  We can't order them in from another store (long story), and we never know when the next lot comes in, so I told her about the online ordering option.  Not good enough for her, she acted like it was my fault for everything.  Ended up giving her a feedback form and told her to send it to head office.

Then there was the woman with the Frozen themed bag...... ~roll eyes~

And that was just yesterday Smiley Indifferent

Yeah, but were you bouncing those dogs on the sidewalk?

I'm laughing here as I read the posts because in the background I hear a youngster bouncing, probably a basketball on the sidewalk in front of my house.  Well, it's just 6:00 PM here.............so bounce away, I say. 🙂
