its not being said out loud now but you just know the 'pink ball' tests are now under threat.

india has huge sway in the running of cricket, behind the scenes they will be outraged at this pink ball and how it behaves in the hands of top class bowlers.

if australia had been skittled for 36 id be saying the same thing, to an extent.

i dont blame the ball for all we saw yesterday but its in the mix by a lot.

our bowlers blowled really well, no doubt about it

the indian betsmen batted pretty darn ordinary also no doubt about it

but i believe the ball was the difference between 36 runs and maybe 150

I don't think the ball had much to do with it at all. The Australian bowlers put in the best performance I have seen for years. The Indian batsmen were ordinary. Australia then had to face the pink ball, but the Indian bowlers were also ordinary and Australia scored the runs with ease. India were humiliated, scoring their lowest innings ever. The fans in India will be furious. Sour grapes is virtually guaranteed!

Day games, not just day/night games,” Warne said speaking during the tea break of the Adelaide Test. “I think the pink ball, you can see it easier, the crowd can see the ball better, it genuinely does more than the red ball and it looks fantastic on TV. So why not use the pink ball all the time."

India were disadvantaged in that they had never played with the pink Kookaburra before this test, and it was on an Australian wicket. In all fairness it must have been tough for them. But if the pink ball is better for the game, then they need to adapt and get used to it.

They batted well enough in the first innings, so you can't really blame their lack of experience with the ball for their collapse.

India just didn't bat as well, and our bowlers followed their plan very well.

It really was the most exciting period in test cricket I've seen for quite a while.
